Our Services
Initial Consultation
My approach to landscape and garden design starts with getting to know you, your space, and your style. In our initial consultation, I will guide you through a series of questions and prompts that will help me understand how you want to use your outdoor space and how you want to feel in it. We will collaboratively define your vision and that vision will later shape my design concepts and recommendations. If you have them, feel free to bring photos, sketches, and creative inspo to this meeting. Wherever you’re at in the process, we’ll start there.
Following this meeting, I will develop and present you with a proposal for design services, and we will get back together to discuss budget, timing, and next steps.
Concept Development & Design
I will begin by developing two unique visual concepts for your space. These concepts will be based on the information gathered in both our initial consultation and the onsite visit and will offer two very different approaches to achieving your vision. I’ll take you through each in detail, and we’ll talk about what you love, what you like, and what you’d like to seen done differently. I’ll then develop a final concept based on your feedback, and we’ll finalize that together. I will then build out a full landscape and garden design program. This will include a series of layout, construction, material, and planting plans that give all parties involved in the installation of your project the specifications they need to complete and manage your project successfully.
onSite VISIT & Site survey
An onsite visit to your space is critical to success of your project. My team and I will use this time to complete a comprehensive site survey. We will take reference photos and/or videos, collect the spatial and structural measurements we need, and evaluate the microclimate and growing conditions we will be working with. We will also inventory and identify what plants and building or hardscape materials already exist in your space - things that we can keep or repurpose in our in our design plans.
The site survey enables us to define the full scope of work that will go into developing and implementing design solutions that will bring your vision to life.
